Qualitative Recruitment

Our specialist team recruits for projects from B2B to children/ families, as well as everything in between.  We support all major methodologies for both digital and offline projects.  Our close relationships with both clients and suppliers mean that we provide a great quality personal service.

We recruit using both client and non-client supplied sample, via telephone interview (semi structured) and phone-to-web.  We also use alternative recruitment methods to find fresh recruits and hard to reach respondents.  In order to do this we’ve partnered with charities and support groups who want to give their service users a voice. Sometimes social media is used in order to reach a higher volume of respondents, especially those who are new to research.

We also meet potential respondents face to face to understand their personalities before we present them to our clients. This ensures that we provide forthcoming respondents, perfect for depths and groups.

Ten accompanied journeys and one focus group with HGV Drivers

Transport research recruitment

We were approached by our clients for help in conducting research with a view to understanding what issues drivers face on a variety of road types. A first pilot phase concentrated on just one type of road user, HGV Drivers. An interesting research methodology grabbed our attention instantly and we jumped at the opportunity to recruit drivers in Scotland for accompanied journeys that involved a researcher sitting in the cab alongside the driver, filming the road in front and asking occasional question prompts about the journey. We built a strong relationship with the transport managers at various organisations who put forward drivers for the researchers, with one of them even not only hosting the focus group at his depot but also providing all the equipment. Our geographical knowledge of Scotland improved drastically as a result of this project - Linwood, Nairn, and Fife are no longer just dots on a map!
